Unfortunately I had a busy afternoon getting my car insurance renewed and then fell asleep, now I'm having to go out for the evening so my painting has shuddered to a stop Sad
At the pub waiting for an acquaintances band to play. I should be enjoying myself but No Cider & No Ale makes Simon Go Crazy!
Right, finished my Imperial Guard Senitnel, and by god does it look nice (well, I think so). I've used a lot of Etched Brass on the base, and some rocks and Eldar heads and rubble, and it looks quite spectacular. It's a fully armoured one (just because I'm that kinda guy...) with a Hunter-Killer Missile. I only chose the missile, because it's called a Hunter-Killer Missile. I don't really care if they don't work properly, I want something strapped to the side of my walker called a Hunter-Killer Missile. Anyway, yeah, It's Lasannon equipped (as I know that most of the 40K players like their tanks) and I think that it looks quite nice. Humf. Big Grin
Sounds awesome Luke!

Well, it's currently 8:42am, I'm waiting for Mick to finish work so we can go to Brum, and I'm painting!! The sunshine must be doing strange things to my mind because this hasn't happened in a loooong time...

Simultaneously I'm updating and ripping music to my mp3 player - again something I can never be bothered to do - think I need a nap Wink

What models cases did you get? Were they standard GW ones, or something special... I must admit, though, I do like the GW ones, as they are extremely durable and just generally good. I have the limited edition 40K case by GW, a grey GW one and a Kingmaker carry case. Believe it or not, though, I'm still thinking about getting a Feldherr one...
Just been asked to plane a wall, and managed to put a hole in it. Thats the next week gone, trying to fill the bugger, a little at a time. Apparantly its all my fault for doing exactly what I was told, with exactly the tools I was told, dispite me knowing better.

I think it was Gifts for Geeks that Luke bought his Kingmaker case from at the UK Games Expo earlier this year.

Good painting sesh last night. Didn't finish any more models off but went round each and added incremental detail. Doubt I'll get any more done tonight, but with another sesh on Sunday and Monday I should be able to see off my hobby target for this week.
