Hoping to find the time this weekend to make some more progress on my Infinity for the ballad but for now post-work time is going to be spent on From Dust and films.

I've heard good things about that, will check it out. Although I want to finish Limbo first.

Rasputina's cult of december box, cleaned and built. I won't have much free time on the weekend, but if I do get an opportunity, I will try and crack on with her starter set.

However again no progress on my Ballad fleet, but comfortable in my ability to get some done by the end of the month.
Just found this rather nice blog type thing that does "Modelling for Mordheim, Warhammer Fantasy, 40K and Flames of War" and it just caught my eye. It does things like pirate sculpting tutorials, which might be useful for Cutlass! and Freebooter's Fate and other piratey type games. Just worth checking out...
Was hoping my Warmachine order from Firestorm would be here today, but it looks like it's still in the dreaded "processing" state.
I'm stuck now. I've been meaning to get a Giant for my Orcs and Goblins WFB army for ages now, but I don't know what to do. I never have really liked the GW Giant, so I have been on the look out for a different one for ages. I know that Forge World do an 8 1/2 inch one that costs £91, but I'm not prepared to spend that amount of money on a Giant. Then, today, I've found one that Black Scorpion Miniatures do, which is 185mm tall. I love the look of it, and for £50 it's not too bad either, considering that it is pretty big and made of finely cast resin. However, the GW one is only 4 1/2 inches, whereas the Black Scorpion one is around 7.5cm taller. Do you think that (if I got the correct sized base for it from GW) I would be able to get and use the Black scorpion one? Considering that the much taller Forge World one is a legal model to use in a game, I think that the slightly smaller Black Scorpion one would be fine to use. What do you guys think?

Looks like it is. They must have made a mistake on their website, 'cause we've just got a package entitled: Firestorm Games!

Woohoo! Cool

Bizarro - my Firestorm order status is still "Processing", yet it's here in front of me.
My Waylands Games order says 'Complete' yet I haven't received half of it and it's been a few weeks since that updated it. My post really is messed up, for example I had 7 letters delivered all in one post on Friday and they'd all been sent at various times, some over a week prior, yet they all appeared at the same time. Including the rest of the household's post, we had around 16+ letters o_o

In other news, I was hoping to do some painting this weekend but alas it's not to be as we're house sitting and I have nowhere to setup here Sad Going to have to dedicate Monday evening to my Infinity models otherwise I'll never do it in time for the ballad!
Wanted to shift some work this weekend so I could assemble my new Warmachine stuff, but my development system threw a wobbler so I've had to waste several hours sorting it out so I can actually make a start on my work.
