Edit - based and gloss coat 1 on. Was wondering if I could get them done for Tuesday, but I'm going to finish them easily. May get to spend tomorrow working on the Cryx.
Nice work Gareth.

Pictures have come out ok too.

Well that didn't happen. They're all assembled though, so I'll just Blu-TackĀ® them onto their bases for now.

Bought some GW Purity Seal from Webbs at the weekend too - going to give that a go on some test models before applying it to Luke's Golden Demon models. Depending on how that turns out (being careful to warm/shake the can beforehand to avoid frosting) we might get some Testors Dullcote with a view to applying a final matt coat.
I could really do with reading some more of the Malifaux rules tonight too. It could be a very slow game tomorrow night...
If it's a display model do NOT varnish it. When he had finished it, lock it away somewhere, bug Varnish will take some of the colour effect away. If you need dullcoat however I have a few cans at home.

And I was expecting a slow game anyway. I just fancy giving the game a try, hopefully cementing some if the rules in my mind. I dont have any idea how I can kill stuff, but the strategy and schemes system may help me combat the Twins killing power.
I did some reading around and the Purity Seal satin formula that replaced the previous matt formula is reportedly good (if applied correctly) at enhancing colour and offering protection while not giving too much of a shine - nothing lost by trying it on some test subjects first.
Still can't find that bloomin' Land Raider. How can we lose a Land Raider!?
Right, I really do need to try and have a read of that Malifaux rulebook tonight, and decide on a crew.
Technically you pick your crew quite late into the setup stage of the game.
