In the process of building a Hobbit Hole at the mo, and I've just recently began constructing the shell out of Paper Mache. I've also spotted this unbelievable model Baggins Hobbit Hole, with a detailed interior and all. I have a confession, I actually thought that the interior was real until I saw the model bilbo baggins.

And about time too

I am feeling a little lazy as I havn't progressed on the Bane Thralls for a few days. However quite a few Cryx bases assembled (ran out of mixed Green stuff with 3 small bases left, and never finished them all off,) finished one of the Mechanical doves, and bar Varnishing I have now painted all of the Colette starter crew. So the next seven days I only have 4 Coryphee and 2 Doves to do, and thats the specific crew members finished.


Just done a sample Lava base. Not as good as the tutorial I followed, but more than adequate.

Just booked up a hotel / train in / to London for Thursday night. Should be getting a game or two in with the Lizards. Probably going to have a poke around Dark Sphere's store, if anyone wants anything grabbed let me know.

Progress since Saturday evening

Todays tasks : Build the Bane Thralls, and 3 Terrordons. Also try and get to the cinema.
Tomorrows tasks : Build 14 Skinks with Blow Pipes, 4 Saurus Warriors with HW, 10 Temple Guard, pask everything away for an early start Thursday, then try and get some painting done on what I am not taking to London. Also try and get to the cinema (there are 4 films I want to see this week.)

I have a feeling that most of the worlds dictators play Cryx. Just trying to assemble these Bane Thralls makes me going on a murder spree. Gadafi has nothing on me at the moment. Just be glad most of my fingers are glued together, or I would bring the pain

That lava base is really impressive.

Yeah, I noticed that, on Monday, that Gareth brought along a couple of unsprayed bases to the club, and noticed that the putty looked as if it had been pasted on, but then flicked to create ripples and waves in the lava. Looks like an ingenious idea.

Got myself a new case (it's one of Dad's old CD cases) to hold some warjacks perhaps. I'm gonna put some spare foam that I got from my Kingmaker case that I got from the Birmingham Games Expo 2011 to ensure that they won't get scratched or damaged.
