Given that I haven't got the faintest idea of what I'm doing, I'm not sure I'd be able to pick a suitable Malifaux crew for any given strategy from those models I have at my disposal! I plan to roll up with a purely experimental crew featuring some interesting models for which I'd like to try out the mechanics of some of their more interesting traits.

I now have my eye on the Outcasts Freikorps box set.
Would have been nice to have a look at the Arcanist stat cards, but they haven't been updated for V2 so don't feature in the free V2 stat card PDF downloads. I'll just have to take them as they come Smile
Stu all I want is to have a bash at the game mechanics. If you want we can skip all the victory conditions and just have a slug out
That sounds eminently sensible and is fine with me Gareth - I think there's more than enough to explore in the mechanics for this first session.
Gareth - meant to ask last light, what colours did you use for the flesh on your Malifaux showgirls?
Show girls are pale females, not spending much time out in the sun, so Dwarf Flesh base, layered to Elf Flesh, with minimal Ogryn Flesh in shadowed areas (busts, under chins, under arms and between shoulder blades.) More extrem highlighting so lighter shades still cover majority of the skin.

However do the eyes first. Mix 50/50 Bleache Bone and Skull White for the Cornea then attempt to draw a thin black line for the pupil. The I did the skin attempting to paint around the eye, rather than do the skin, the paint into the recess.
Nice one, cheers.

Been looking at some Army Painter Dip Shade tutorials today. Think I'm going to give it go, and if it works out I'll use it for my 96 Warriors of the Last Alliance.
Whoa didn't notice the double post. I only tried to edit spelling. Anyway pinned all the arms on my Coryphee models, as well as constructed all the bases. Models about to be undercoated ready for painting, whilst there is no drizzle.
