Ahhh man! No cotea for me then...... Maybe :p good for ypur assault moves though!
Just asked to double check the assault move ruling... I mean he quoted the GT FAQ which dissallows it, but I think most people agree, it's a strange ruling, no other rule in 40k removes an ability just because you don't have it... plus other things like Broadsides and Drones, that ruling stops the attached drones from assault moves, same as Sniper Drones because they have a Marker dude in the unit so cannot move in the assault phase? Not rules as written or intended IMO.

Just seems a strange one.

So dropping Coteaz for a Bike unit? Seems like a good move to me...

Just replied to Harry and am awaiting response... I can only see a no to the assault move coming :p but have argued my case :p

I've been looking at further for possible ways to improve the list... and I keep thinking about a Techmarine at first I was like, lol this is stupid... but then I got thinking.... he buffs a piece of terrain (woods for kroot become 3+ before GtG, ruins the same... Skyrays will also get protection) lol for 50pts he doesn't add much but that, for a further 35pts he gets a Servo Harness (Plasma Pistol + Power Fist) and a Combi-Plasma! When gating that gives me a further 3 TL-BS4 str7 ap2 shots... for 85pts... not bad... but is it a neat trick or pts sink? As he's only 1 wound... 2+ save tho :p I'm not sure, what do you guys think?

Then I got thinking again... Thunderfire Cannon... again, buffs terrain... and massacres light tanks and light infantry...

Or do I just go for the Storm Raven??

Ive had thunderfire cannons used against me with great effect but never really worked them out myself. They are a great way of killing that annoying kroot unit on the other side of the board that noone can see (barrage dosent need LOS) but are an easy option for 1st blood! Think the stormraven will give u added mobility (especially if you dont roll gate, which is probably gonna happen in at least 1 game) and also provides a great distraction! My only issue with them is the safety of the troops inside as ive rarely had a turn that hasnt involved my opponent throwing everything at it as soon as it arrives but is that a bad thing? Means your bomb might survive a a turn longer than expected! Dont think the techmarine adds much by himself if im honest but again, its not a unit ive ever really used!

In summary.......... Stormraven!! Lol
yeah I'm thinking the same mate, just looking at alternatives and thinking out loud :p

Was even considering deep striking the bomb, but in reality that just won't work :p

Just a Storm Raven to paint, sprayed it white yesterday, might but a coat of orange on tonight... maybe.. I'm playing footy, so might just collapse on the sofa by 9pm lol
