I second this Chris, two units that are this deadly in combat land in front of your lines is going to cause nightmares to gun lines! You can pen Eldar in with this, especially if you run after deep striking to make the footprint as large as possible, you will be assaulting turn2 or 3...
Cheers guys, might consider that Nick, would need to find another 15 pts from somewhere though...maybe drop warscythe on one overlord, hmmm.

Matt, the list was very similar although I have replaced a night scythe with a ghost ark - more shooting, one flyer is prob going to get wasted by intercept like in my game against you and have the veil to deepstrike the lychguard squad anywhere - can do this turn 1 so faster but less reliable than the night scythe, but He Who Dares... Since I no longer needed Zahndrek to make sure the flyer came on turn 2, I've dropped him for a basic lord to give more warscythe attacks and another res orb to keep the unit alive another turn.

I wouldn't advocate a drop in Warscythes, they are lethal!

Have lost lord with res orb and ws, the chronometron and nebuloscopes off the tomb blades to pay for obyron, switched solar staff to the cryptek. Will I miss the chronometron and the res orb off the dropped lord? Just feel like I might need a 5++ save on a unit but guess you can't have everything.

If there are wraithguard with d scythes I think i am just going to have to reserve both units and hope i come on after them, or spread out as much as poss?

JJ/Will any changes to your lists? Or already submitted them? Smile

Nick, I really like this list, the only change I'd consider is somehow getting Zahndrekh.. probably dropping the Nightmare Shroud Overlord, but you lose a Res Orb... which will be important. Its a tough one. But I think at this stage its probably worth settling on this list and playtesting if you can.

Cool, what does Baharroth do Rob?

Lychguard are great Nick, and 8 is prob enough in one unit.
