Planetstrike is a good supplement for attacker/defender situations. Works well with Planetary Empires too :-)

I missed the WD with the update to planetstrike for 7th and have not seen it on any torrent sites.

What i'd suggest to keep it interesting is that while narrative campaign games that are once a month are good vs evil (so to speak), playing people outside of these games with list is okay.

Or maybe have it so the narrative once a month games are as above, but you can play against anyone for map pieces during the month (representing internal power struggles, training exercises, scout missions etc etc)?

Like the idea about the odd game against your own faction representing an internal power struggle but might overcomplicate things?

Only other way is to go in 4 small factions like below-
Team Emo Space monks and pals
Thom - Dark Angels
Tom - Dark Angels
Terry - Dark Angels
Matt - Imperial Guard

Team still a better love story than Twilight
Kev - Space Wolves
Vince - Blood Angels
Baal Dave - Blood Angels
Dave - Sisters of battle

Team Evil (MWAHAHA)
Dan E - Tyranids
Will - Tyranids
Dann B - Necrons
Alan - Chaos

Team Elves and fishmen unite
Arif - Tau
Chris - Dark Eldar
JJ - Eldar
Dan - Eldar

As an example, teams could be jigged around.

Will the majority of missions be of the Eternal War BRB style?

I like those small teams, could be some incredible 4 player games come out of that!

Those 4 small teams look very interesting could be a good battle at some point using original 500pt lists

Yeah I like the 4 teams if we can go with that?

Only arranged them that way so could crack some (lame) jokes, but if okay will leave as is.
