Rumour on beasts of war at the minute that man o'war is getting a re-release. For those that don't know it is ship based warfare based in the warhammer fantasy world.
Its one the specialist games i wanted to get back in the day(1993 i think) and would definately be interested in getting if was redone.
Anyone else interested?
(edit)just posted this-

Can't view at work, but comments are suggesting annoucement tomorrow?
Which means playable at games day?
I'm going to pick it up tomorrow, but it isn't man'o'war. It's going to be a self contained game, like the limited edition space hulk set of two years back.
Is that what the trailer shows? Any further info you can share with me Gareth?Smile
Rumour is all. But those rumours have come from people who tend to he very accurate.
There was also a bit of discussion/conjecture related to tomorrow's announcement on the GW UK Facebook page earlier: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/GamesWorkshopUK (second post down, starting with "YARR!").
..... Can see the stuff now back home, damn work firewall. Block most goods things. grrr.
Have to wait till midnight to see then.....
So its been annouced as dreadfleet, which to me anyway, looks like a self contained version of man o'war with pirates. Tempted to get but the £70 pricetag is off putting for me.....

I have ordered a copy. Might be interesting to see how the game plays, and how it can be modified, to run along the pirate based games we have in club.
I'm up for giving you a game if you like when it arrives Gareth?
