I’m pleased to announce the second RedWarSoc 40k league!!
THE LEAGUE IS COMPLETELY FREE IS FREE TO ENTER!!!
LEAGUE STARTS ON 3rd of September
The premise:
A minimum commitment of 1 league game per calendar month, but more games can be played if available.
Army size: 1500pts! And not a single point more.
Army Lists – people are free to pick from any of the mainstream Codexs including White Dwarf, can people please submit their army list before Midnight on the 1st of September you can hand it in on paper or PM me here. There will be a separate thread created to document all the lists.
Army List Changes - during the league you are free to change your list as many times as you like, there are no pts limits to the amount you can change the list, but, only your first change will be free, each subsequent change will cost 3 league points, list changes will need to be submitted by the Sunday before the week of your next scheduled league game.
Fortifications – are in full effect, choose are per the rulebook
Missions – missions will be selected from the core rules, each fixture will be given a set mission.
Scoring – there will be a 5-3-1 Group Points system in use
Win the mission = 5GPs
Mission drawn – 3GP
Lose – 1GPs
Winning the Mission: If you win the mission as per the rulebook you gain 5GPs (This means winning on Primary and Secondary objectives combined)
League Bonus points:
Table your opponent +1 GP
League Format – 1 group of however many players are interested before the first game, a set fixture schedule will be drawn up a few days before the league begins, along with all the missions that will be used.
Who will be the winner? – Whoever is at the top once all the games are completed.
Submitting Results:
Please post your results as soon as possible after the game in this thread: (When thread started) so the league table can be updated as quickly as possible (usually on a thursday to give time for results submissions and any questions that may arise after the game).
What if my opponent hasn’t replied to me or fails to show up for a game? – Please contact me ASAP, as above the league has a minimum requirement of 1 game per calendar month, there will be a set schedule the games will be played too, so no excuses, should a player make contact and offer a number of times to play the game and the game is refused or no contact made from the other player to re-arrange the game or any other reason, the player who has tried the hardest to make the game go ahead will be awarded the points, 3 months of no games will result in expulsion from the league. Please make contact with me if you’re having any difficulties attending the group or arranging games.
In addition, players are free to play their games in the set order at a rate of more than 1 game per calendar month, but may not skip opponents to move onto the next fixture, games must be played in the set order that will be laid out just before the league starts.
