Space Hulk and other games

Hi all

After my first visit to the club on Tuesday where I played 40K for the first time in a million years (yes I am actually a warp entity) I started thinking about how I could contribute in future - not necessarily straight away, but when I've settled in a bit.

Firstly - I own a copy of the "new" limited edition Space Hulk board game which, if there was interest, I'd be happy to bring along to club nights when I make it. It could be a good game to play for people who couldn't get a proper tabletop game that evening. I've actually only played it once since I bought it and it would be nice to see it enjoyed.

Secondly, Stuart mentioned that some of you play a game based around spaceship battles? This is totally my sort of thing so if somebody could point me in the direction of those guys then that would be cool. I do have a copy of Battlefleet Gothic if anybody wanted to try it?

Hey Graham

The games I mentioned have all been from Spartan Games, and include:

• Dystopian Wars - Mick, Simon A, Justin and Rachel have experience of this
  
• Firestorm Armada - Matt and Chris (?) have played this
  
• Uncharted Seas - Gareth has this
  

Total Wargamer stock some of the Spartan range, can't remember whether they cover all three games though.

Definitely up for trying Space Hulk and Battlefleet Gothic some time!

TW stock all three games. The chap I mentioned to you on Tuesday, who told me to slap Noisy, has recently purchased several fleets for Firestorm Armada.

Personally I have a vague knowledge of BFG, having played it when it first came out. In fact it is the only game I have ever played in Warhammer World. Although it has been a considerable time since I gave it a go, and I was never certain of he rules back then either. I used to use the Chaos fleet, and I probably still have some of the BFG specialist games mag around somewhere.

lol well me and family have the old space hulk and enjoyed it so i can vouch to it being a great game (yummy genestealers)
i also got firestorm armarda (when nov 7 passes) just the starter set but from what i renember thats all you really need

I have several BFG fleets so would be up for a game or teaching people to play.

Hi Graham,

I've got a couple of BFG fleets as well. Also got the original Space Hulk which I love. I'd be up for a game of either BFG or your newer Space Hulk (as not played that version yet), perhaps sometime in July.
