Ok, sounds like a load of Radiohead 'B' sides when u first listen to it.

But its a grower.

Codex has to be one of the best tracks they've ever done, which is going some.

Just don't listen to it on a saturday night with a drink in one hand and a hobby craft knife in the other, whilst trimming some flash off 15mm figures....oh wait..i'll stop now 8¬)

Just spent £130 of two tickets for a smallish band called The Subways. Rock and Roll queen might be familiar as it gets quite a bit of ad / film coverage. Rimmel London (Makeup) and Rock'n'Rolla (film) spring to mind. Why so much? A mate talked me into the VIP package, so we get to attend the sound check, meet the bad, get some signed merc etc, which tbh means were only paying an extra £30 for a longer day and a meet and greet, when I consider I would have probably picked up a tee-shirt. Pricey but fun. Bad news gigs on a Tuesday in September, so there is one club day I am missing.

O2 academy have announced Evanescence are at the venue Sunday 13th Nov. With The Pretty Reckless in support (put on a good show last December in Wolves,) looks like I have another gig to go to this year.
