Yeah at first glance he's pretty poor but a t5 eternal warrior with a 3+ re rollable jink is a great bullet sponge to put out front. He's ok in combat (ap2 at i5) so can wipe up any marines/scouts that are sitting in objectives and of course +3 to your charge/run from his warlord trait is amazing especially if your opponent deploys right on the line! 15" charge anyone? :p
