Vince, mistakes in my battlescribe list:

The kabalite warriors are in a venom with the splinter cannon upgrade, not just splinter rifles, and should cost 105pts, not 95 (40pts for 5 warriors, 55pts for venom, 10 pts for cannon upgrade)

Also, the 9 wyches in the raider incl. hekatrix with haywire grenades cost 160pts, not 170pts (90pts for 9 wyches, 10pts for hekatrix upgrade, 5 pts for haywire grenades and 55pts for the raider.

Cheers

Chris

Just a heads-up to you all - I'm going to be absolutely rubbish :-P I haven't played Tyranids since sorta 3rd/4th Ed - so you'll all have some cannon fodder to wipe out along the way :-P
40K - Tyranids (4500 Points) & Chaos - The Purge and the Brazen Host (8500 Points)
30K - Death Guard (2000ish Points), Sons of Horus (175 Points because Loken) + World Eaters, soon.
Project Log
"Only a fool takes Khârn for a mindless brute or rabid dog. Under that blood-soaked helm lurks an intelligence and cunning that makes him a masterful killer - trust me when I say that there is a dark purpose in his madness."

Haha ;-)
They'll be greatly appreciated! I've got a rough idea what I'm doing but my list will be fun & fluffy, not all that competitive. Will test run it against my own nasty Chaos list and some others beforehand too!

Out of curiosity - are Serpent Shields being nerfed up to 1000pts like FMCs or are we just gonna have to suck it up and deal with them? ;-)

As i said on facebook, me and sam are doing a super heavies silly battle tuesday, your welcome to partake. Smile

If you do come down, bring a 500 Pt force and i'm sure that we will get time to do a quick intro game as well. Or drag other Dan down and play next to us, we can then help with rule queries etc. Smile

Wouldn't worry as most forces so far are quite fluffy, no ones dropped a massively competitive list in.

Not sure yet, just thinking about it now. Was tempted to limit the shooting aspect to once a game till 1000 Pts, but don't want to heavily comp things.

Serpents are only massively nasty when you fire the shield, with the scatter laser load out as it TL's the shield. Gunboat and a half lol.

Other than that, punch them to death or glance to death.

Cheers Vince :-)
Unfortunately I'm at band practice this Tuesday instead of my usual Thursday, so will have to skip. Look forward to hearing the outcome though!
I'll try and drag Dan down at some point ;-)
Me and him have been playing semi-regularly for a while, and have gotten to a fairly comfortable point with 7th Ed now. We'll be running a couple of games next weekend so he can pick between Orks and Necrons (with the new Codex) and will hopefully give my Nids a run toward the end of the month.

Gotcha!
