New BA and Tyranids campaign box set

Decided to start a thread for this box set as it seems to be coming in 2 weeks-

I keep getting questions about a Tyranids Codex release and here's some info.
1. This is a model release no Tyranids codex.
2. A Campaign book will be released and if I remember correctly it's called Leviathan.
3. Blood Angels are still coming.
4. There will be a starter set that contains BA and Tyranids. It will be similar to Storm Claw.
5. Hope to update Blood Angel rumors this week.

Multiple sources are now saying to look for:

- Blood Angel, Tyranids & Necron Campaign
- Limited boxed set will accompany the campaign modeled after the Stormclaw product
- Box will include Ba vs Tyranid opposing forces led by:
- Plastic Blood Angel Captain
- Named Tyranid Character (Prime most commonly names, but Lictor or Broodlord possible)

Look for this before the new year.

3 lictors (editor's note: this makes no sense, perhaps Hive Guard?)

Campaign is slated to kick off the week after Tyranids

I would speculate that the lictors are wrong (unless they have converted them to plastic which is unlikely...) and it will be hive guard.
Though this box breakdown is off BoLS who aren't the best at accurate rumours, so until I have pictures or Lords war gaming confirm it, salt required.

So what exactly is Shield of Baal?

2 volume hardcover narrative campaign set.

Covers the invasion of the Sheildworlds of Baal by Hivefleet Leviathan

The initial set is only the first volume detailing the invasion.

It involves Tyranids vs Astra Militarum, Tempestus Strikeforces, Adepta Sororitas.

Volume 1 is 152pp, narrative campaign book (no rules) detailing this phase of the invasion.

Volume 2 is 64pp of rules including:

- 6 narrative scenarios

- Cities of Death campaign expansion

- Fighter Aces rules for games of 40k ~OHH NEAT!

- New Tyranid detachments, units, formations, and more.

I am tempted by this, with the new Blood Angels codex coming up am tempted to get a small allied section going as BA were my original army back when i was 12 and used them more like toys lol
If i did get it, would anyone be interested in the Tyranid and mini rulebook?

Yeah I'd be intrested in the nids if no one else has claimed them? I was intrested in getting the whole box but I have more than enough death company and No real wish for a terminator captain :-\
