It's amazing the stuff that went on underground, and this involved the grandfather of a chap from Redditch too.

Have a look out for Beneath Hill 60, classic film about an Australian team of tunnellers in ww1.

Here's some pics I took of the crater left by a mine in '98, not sure of the exact location, somewhere near mametz wood i think...sorry for the poor quality, APS cameras were rubbish

Those are some interesting pictures, Simon. I always have been interested in pictures of the aftermath of a war...
