Magic the Gathering sounds good if you can't find a 40k Partner. I'm still learning MTG myself, only played maybe 6 or 7 matches so far.

Only ever played a couple of very quick WFB intro games Gaz, and that was a couple of years ago now. Given my speed of learning I'd never get up to speed in time, so I'll sit this one out. Next time though - with a few months notice...
