Indeed they are. Do you remember the limited edition GW paint brush set. It came with some soap and a little water pot, that looked like a bolter shell. The bushes were rebranded W&N7 and the set knocked about 50% off branded price. Quite a deal, if you picked it up. Not being big into painting at the time I never.

Thats the one. Availability - No Longer Available. However for someone that treats their brushes as bad as me (and the money I waste on them, I really should show them more respect,) thats an awful amount I will not drop on brushes.

No progress on the desert island board (or anything else hobby-related) this week, so I'll target completion for the meeting after next. Hopefully the palm trees will be here by then too.

I have a test board ready to try out some water effects, hopefully I can then apply whichever technique works best to the main board.

Just had a really good little Warmachine game vs. Luke, my Cygnar battlebox vs. his Menoth one. Amazingly four turns in less than 30 minutes, and he won!

Nothing on the desert island board this week; progress halted on two fronts by a sickness bug and a feline attack on the pink foam ("the cat ate my terrain board, sir, honest"). Will hopefully get some time on it tomorrow.

Sat in the hotel. Painted these up, although the grey turned a tad purple due to not letting the red dry first. Will re-do the grey later and add a spot of white tomorrow.

I find myself reminded of the sickness bug that struck me down a couple of days ago.

Surveyed the damage inflicted on our desert island board by the cat earlier - it really had a go at the pink foam. The gouges should hopefully disappear with sanding/filling though.

Stockport gaming centre is fairly huge. An awful lot of tables with a small store tacked on the side. Building seems to be run as a club rather than the store. Interesting.
