Campaign Rules/gang rosters
#91
Most of the "Specialist games," i.e. those that are cantered on a campaign system, have been designed with a difference of experience in mind. The gang/team/etc that are behind in value, always gets a bonus. So they could be two years in and things would be more or less fair.

However it's not like the have been massive amounts of games played. Vince for instance usually has a football injury, that cancels his arranged game.
Star Wars Legion - Rebels
Guildball - Alchemists
Blood Bowl - Lizardmen

Yeah it shouldn't be a problem, I seem to get my arse kicked whichever gang I play, the rating makes little difference! Good to have you on board Sam.
40K - Dark Angels, Dark Eldar, Necrons; Lord of the Rings - lots; Bloodbowl - Dwarves, Wood Elves; SAGA - Anglo Danes & Welsh; Guildball - Morticians, Engineers; Dropzone/fleet - Shaltari

I can't see any need to consider restarting the campaign (purely in a spirit of comradery I personally don't mind starting my gang again - and out of a spirit of laziness it would defer me having to remodel my gang to reflect all the new equipment!). It sounds like we have enough people looking to begin their venture into the Underhive to keep each other company, so I'm happy to keep my pair of Heavy Stubbers Smile

So far it looks like Sam, Russ and Ben are up for it, and I recall someone else expressed an interest - James (Ginger Biscuits) perhaps?

i dont think there will be any need to restart the campaign, the fact that there is a batch (3 of us) of new blood coming in will help.

We'll see how Deckard and The Runners do when they take to the hive.

played my first 2 games against Vince, damn those were brawls...

things to note from them:

apart from one of my juves being partially deaf, all i could roll for serious injuries were 2 deaths or capture results.

in both games my heavy fires 1 round before running out of ammo

avoid playing Vince for a while, he's very mean.

anyway my gang managed to advance very quickly due to the massive gang rating difference and both of my juve are already gangers.

here's the list

Ps: how'd you lot managed to change the links into just your gang names, looks like you use html code, which seems to be disabled for me. help!
40K: Orks and Chaos Space Marines

standard deffwing tactic: rush fast and hit like a runaway freight train with a rocket booster on the last carriage...
remember kids, never trust an ork who shows his teeth

You did run out of luck with the heavy stubber, i was worried that first turn that you might take out my heavy and leader!

I did feel really horrible when you rolled your injuries and rolled captured and 2 dead!

I have been sat in the corner and reflecting on my actions!

I have a had to rejig the ladies around to change equipment to suit injuries(one heavy has a leg injury, meaning that i had switch the Flamer and the Heavy stubber over), roster updated.
40k- Space marines(5000 pts) Imperial guard (3000 pts) Tau (3000 pts)
Epic 40k-Space marines/Imperial Guard(2000 pts)
Infinity Yu jing (Aprox 1000 pts)
Necromunda Escher Mad capsules Avalanche
Blood bowl Skaven
