GW specialist games making a return?
#1
Just found this on the Beasts Of War site.

http://www.beastsofwar.com/games-worksho...-workshop/

Hopefully legit. And with any luck prices reasonable.

Looking forward to potentially starting a Blood angels Epic force.
For the Angelic Horde!

Bit more on this rumour at BoLS: http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2015/11/b...turns.html

According to that this news originated from GW stores in Oz.

Hope so, I still have my EPIC Armies, Warmaster Army, Bloodbowl team and the remains of a Necromunda Gang just collecting dust on a shelf.
Tyranids - They are coming! I feel then scratching inside my mind, scratching, screaming, running, so many - so, so many voices.

Merged threads.

Nice surprise that there was apparently some substance to the rumours from this morning. There was talk of the Tolkien systems getting some attention at last, and it sounds like the licenses have been renewed. An AoS type skirmish system with an emphasis on scenarios might be a good fit there.

That insider information is good news as well. Sounds like GW is going back to doing business like it did back in my youth with information about stuff before the pre-orders come up. Anyone remember the tau first release? there where teasers about teasers for that one. Would be a good move for them to go back to that model in my opinion
What's next, a proper errata/faq? Or chapter approved making a return? Wink

In your dreams Will! Tongue

I wouldn't expect them to change the black out on future releases until the week before, they seem determined to keep to that as they weirdly think it helps sales...... Would be glad to be proven wrong though.

I wonder if it will launch with a redone Blood bowl, which was rumoured to be released last year and year before by hastings.

I hope it is a proper revival, i would love to play/buy Epic again!

And a redone necromunda, BFG and Blood bowl.

Just hope it the prices are not shockingly high......
