Thanks for the advice Gareth I used two slightly watered down coats this morning, so possibly could do with a little more water then; I'll test it out - they are great colours.

According to the product listing it contains...
Quote:1 Handbook, 1 painting guide, 2 reference sheets, 1 team roster pad, 1 Blood Bowl field, 2 Dugouts, 4 Star Player cards, 2 Team cards, 1 Range Ruler, 1 Thrown-in template, 1 Scatter template, 4 plastic footballs, 24 Orc and Human models, and all the counters you need to play the game.

I need to give some thought to card storage/protection - particularly as Malifaux is rather card intensive!

Standard CCG card protectors will fit, as the cards are the same size as the Warmahordes ones. The only issue you have is that they are unfolded to reveal triggers and spell lists, you lose the protectors. Laminating is the easiest way I can imagine the cards being protectable in an unfolded form.

I think I might just download the PDFs for the character cards and print them out. The fate deck cards would probably benefit from a little protection though.

Again Card Protectors that fit Magic Cards, and the Warmachine ones will fit the fate deck. TBH though anyone after a fate deck I would advise to get a Puppet deck rather than one of the coloured ones. The art work is better, and they are plastic cards rather than card cards, so much more sustainable in the long run.
On a personal note, I have started on a Slayer. At the moment it looks a very dark metal, as I am awaiting a wash to dry. Tomorrow I hope to have my rusty metal done, than I can look to painting the panels. Not sure what to do base wise, thinking a swampy bayou feel.

Yeah, I meant to order some protectors last night from Firestorm but forgot to tag them on to the order.
