RE: Sharp Practice - Stuart - 04-06-2012 When are you next at the club Steve - fancy pencilling in a game for then? RE: Sharp Practice - Noisysteve - 04-06-2012 Should be up on june 19th I think. Hopefully have the figures by then, if not could proxy some Zulu war figures! RE: Sharp Practice - Stuart - 05-06-2012 Got my 95th on the way from Perry, and I've pencilled us in for a game on the 19th. Dane has said he'll give us a hand if he's around. RE: Sharp Practice - Noisysteve - 05-06-2012 Fantastic. Just made a game deck and bonus deck up. RE: Sharp Practice - Simon - 06-06-2012 worth watching.. http://sharppractice.11.forumer.com/ Also.. Look up "The Complete Fondler" It's not as bad as you think. Couple of photos of Sharp Practice in action (not me I hasten to add): I think single bases and figure trays are the way to go, with big men on individual bases. I'd been wondering what to do about movement trays - I'll probably pick up something from here: http://www.warbases.co.uk/#/movement-trays/4526418311 RE: Sharp Practice - Noisysteve - 06-06-2012 quite big units, seems like 12 to 16? nice cavalry charge RE: Sharp Practice - Gareth - 06-06-2012 Sarissa Precision (the guys behind my old west buildings and vinces big pod thing,) produce 2mm MDF bases. I know they produce movement trays for Warhammer, but might do them for other systems too. On an other note, I lost the roof (probably threw away in error,) to a building. I dropped them an email, around 7pm, and had a reply within half an hour, so if you shoot one to them, they may get back surprisingly fast. RE: Sharp Practice - Noisysteve - 08-06-2012 Just watched the Sharps tutorial on U tube. Not bad, gives a good insight into some of the rules. Still not got my figures yet, but thinking of doing 3 groups of 12, with 1 level 1 Sgt, 1 level 2 Lieutenant, and 1 level 3 captain RE: Sharp Practice - Stuart - 08-06-2012 Must have a look at that - finding the rulebook a little hard going to be honest! Wish I'd bought an extra 6 riflemen to give me 3 groups of 12. Will have to suffice with 3 groups of 10 for now. If anyone wants to order anything from Perry then let me know and I'll tag a set of riflemen on, and we can split the postage. |
