Mornin' - Agincourt - 02-04-2011

Hi folks my son Tom and I (Paul) are looking forward to getting some gaming in.

I started Ancients and Napoleonic wargaming as a teenager, played into my 20's but had to retire when work and families came along... but started again about 5 years ago with WFB.

Tom is 11. Together we started with Warhammer fantasy, O&G v High Elves, Dwarves and a few Empire. Then we started 40k, Orks and Space Marines. Tom has a load of Lord of the Rings stuff too...

We know (most) of the rules, but need to play more...

Will always have loads of painting to do...

I like collecting old metal figures, my goblin archers are my fav unit!

See you soon...

Welcome Paul (and Tom), glad to have you on board! I think my lad Luke may have mentioned the gaming club to Tom at school. Luke also remembered seeing Tom at Warhammer World when we visited around last November time I think?

Hi Paul and Tom.

Welcome to the forums.

Paul, I'm guessing but maybe names such as Peter Gilder, Hinchliffe models and Minifigs strike an old chord ?

I've still got loads of Napoleonic Minifigs stuff still sitting in my loft waiting to be painted and I still find something quite stirring about that era, if only I can get the facings right !
