Yes! Finished it and I'm really pleased with the results. You'll have to wait 'till tonight to see it, though. Muahahahahaaa! Big Grin.

Just completed my hill, too. That too looks pretty nice. It's made of card, but is as tough as hell. You'll have to wait 'till tonight to see it, though. Muahahahahaaa! Big Grin.

Vince where would be best to pick up a bulk of the grade of sand GW sell for basing. Hopefully spending the weekend working on scenery, but I think play pit sand will be to fine for what I want.

I'm about to complete a foot by 1/2foot ruin. Just got the drybrushing stage to do, now.

I would say play pit sand would be a nice and fine grade of sand to use for basing. If in town might be worthwhile checking 99p store, if not tesco will have it cheap this time of year! But i would personally use builders sand for scenery as i like the rough effect it gives. It is as down to personal taste though!
Look forward to seeing that when completed luke!

Right then, I've completed the monster. You'll have to wait 'till Tuesday to see it though, Muahahahahaaa! Sorry.

Gonna try and finish off my river pieces this weekend, then i might attempt a big ruin myself, think that would quite fun to plan and create. Did you go for a bigger piece of upper floor on your piece Luke?
