Not much is known about the ground game at present (including scale, rumours about both 28mm and 15/10mm floating), here is round up from dakkas thread-

While asking about it, I spoke with a person who claims to be a staff member from Spartan Games, our conversation covered lightly on a few things about the game and the relevant excerpt will be copied and pasted into a spoiler below. Basically, he was alluding to there being multiple scales for the game. My best speculation at this stage is that that will translate to 28mm and a 10 or 15mm companion set, whether they are the same game remains to be seen, but damn it's exciting!
There will be no crowd funding for this game, it will be going straight to retail.
