Fancy a game Kev? Name the points level!

Let's go for 1850pts

RE: Tuesday 2nd September 2014 - Khronic - 27-08-2014

Game on!

RE: Tuesday 2nd September 2014 - Agincourt - 27-08-2014

BOLT ACTION BASH

2 units each

John - Yanks - HQ (1st Lieut + 2 men) + Squad
Stu - Brits - Squad + Squad or Support Unit (e.g. MG, Mortar Team)
Justin - Brits - Squad + Squad or Support Unit (e.g. MG, Mortar Team)
Jim - Ruskies - Squad + Squad or Support Unit (e.g. MG, Mortar Team)

Paul - Germs - HQ (1st Lieut + 2 men) + Squad
Mick - Germs - Squad + Squad or Support Unit (e.g. MG, Mortar Team)
Justin's mate - Germs - Squad + Squad or Support Unit (e.g. MG, Mortar Team)
Simon - Japs - Squad + Squad or Support Unit (e.g. MG, Mortar Team)

POINTS - Squads must be no more than 100 points strong (this will balance regulars and veteran units, weapons, etc.)

TANKS - You can replace one support unit (in the army) with a 188 point (inexperienced) TANK (e.g. Panzer IV, M4 Sherman) if you wish.

We will play ENVELOPMENT scenario.

6 x 4 board. DEFENDER Zone 12" will contain buildings and walls representing edge of town/village they have to hold. Rest of board random scattering of woods, walls, hedges, etc.
DEFENDERS deploy at least 50% of their units on the board in DEF ZONE thay can use 'Hidden Set-up rules' if wanted). (The remaining units can be held as reserves if you wish.)
Attackers may divide force into 50%+ first wave then a second wave if they wish.

Objective is for attackers to move units into DEF ZONE or through DEF ZONE and off board. defenders must stop this happening!

After Defenders set-up, on a 2+ there is a PREPARATORY BOMBARDMENT.

FIRST TURN. All Attacker first wave must move onto board with RUN or ADVANCE orders (no orders test required).

GAME lasts 6 turns (so need to keep things moving...) or an extra turn on a 4,5,6.

VICTORY POINTS -

Attacker scores -
1 point per enemy unit destroyed.
2 points per friendly unit in (or partially in) DEF ZONE.
3 points per friendly unit moved through DEF ZONE and off table.

Defender scores 2 points per enemy unit destroyed.

Must win by 2 clear points for victory.

Hello

Wife and I being quite new to X-Wing miniatures, would anyone like a 100pt dogfight next Tuesday (02 Sep)?

We have Imperial and Rebel fighters.

Thank you.

Jason

I may have left this late, but anyone left who wants to play 40k?

If not, it would be nice to play some x-wing again, but I would need to borrow some ships, still don't have any of my own right now.

RE: Tuesday 2nd September 2014 - Embolden - 31-08-2014

So looks like I will be able to attend now!

Yeah that's fine by me, although 1500 would be better. I can bring DE then.
