Robotech RPG kickstarter live - manrogue - 23-04-2013
Just as heads up to anyone interested, this has gone live and is doing quite well. The Robotech kickstarter is already at $295,000 three days in!
The initial goal of $70,000 was funded within 3 hours with both early bird specials gone in the first hour. For those interested in this from a Battletech perspective, the core set includes 5 Stingers, 5 Stinger LAMS, 5 Stinger Aerofighters, 2 Warhammer/Rifleman kits, a Marauder and 12 Ostrocs (thanks to Gitzbitah for figuring that out as I prefer a different flavor of stompy robot combat). This finishes in 4 hours, currently at 1.2m. I couldn't resist and am in at $140.Which means i get-

So ended up going quite heavily on this (£300+), and after loads of delays, models that don't look anywhere near as good as the prototypes/renders, found out today that they are going to sell it at Gencon before they ship it out to backers. Despite backers being promised they would have it first.
Sigh.
Does have me worried for the stuff i have due in Wave 2, as was supposed to have everything by now and only have Wave 1 stuff just being sorted (about a 1/4 of models due).

Ouch, that's pretty bad. I'm still waiting on various kickstarter stuff, it's kinda put me off it to be honest,
