...as voted for by readers of El Reg is Use of Weapons by Iain M. Banks. One of his better Sci-Fi books IMHO - last page is brilliant, but can't say any more without possibly spoiling it for those who plan to read it Smile

I allways thought that Joe Haldeman's 'The Forever War' deserves to be turned into a film, but then again it would be ruined if it contained Mel Gibson/ Sly Stone and such like. Allways cautious when Hollywood decide to get involved....
