A bit of an anecdote here, but wherever I use Ork Bikers they are amazing shots.
The last time I used them, the first turn killed a flying Hive tyrant who had flown right in front of them (to kill something else)
7 bikers, with 6's to hit and rerolls only missed 3 shots, and needed 5's to wound scored 7 wounds... which 4 of were then failed
it was a good start to a game I then got whipped in (The bikes then were the main target of the other hive tyrant and the 2 other flying monsters my opponent had and died soon after)

Blood Angels Libby Vs. Carnifex. BA had the charge so furious charge + Full Quickening (additional 3 attacks) + Force. All Whiff.......Librarian went squish.
