Aka "Dipshade"

Couple of articles that Andy (from the Evesham all-dayer) has penned on using Army Painter Quickshade:

According to the Wayland Games newsletter these will be available in 18ml pots soon.
They have them at TW
Looks like useful stuff for knocking out game quality minis quick
The better half picked up a tin of this, the medium shade, and I'll report in once it's been put to use.
Will be interested to see how she gets on with it.
Bit of a bump for this thread after chatting to Andy and a few others about QuickShade again last night.

I presume the 18ml pots mentioned previously are the "QuickShade Inks" mentioned in this review? http://jonathanpeace.blogspot.co.uk/2012...aints.html

Yeah I have one of the 18ml Soft Tone, sat on the kitchen table at the moment. Army painter advertise their dropper bottles, are exactly the same colour as the relevant spray / dip tins.

Ta - sounds like a cheap way to experiment before forking out on a tin.
I noticed my Soft tone, has the same stench as Devlin Mud had. I have also been told, that that smell, is a biological ingredient, which has been removed in all of the new GW paints. I wonder which one of the three strengths is the most like Devlin Mud / Agrax Earthshade
