I began to play the demo when I got back yesterday, and it's a really interesting game. It's sort of a "straight-into-the-action" style thing. Some really interesting weapons, and it looks like the start to an all-time favourite game.
Ok I have ordered this on 360. The fact I don't own a 360 is not to be under estimated. So I also ordered the Gears of War 3 360 at the same time.

Good time to buy a 360 at the moment as a lot of places are discounting the current 360 'S' as the gloss finish is being replaced by a model with a more matt finish.
Got my copy from shopto.net, £35 on 360 with preorder bonus golden chainsword and book. And icing on the cake is got dispatched yesterday and should be here today/tomorrow latest!
Game arrived yesterday, not had chance to play yet though
Will have a good run through of it when get in from work at 2, Maybe play some multiplayer if anyone else has it yet on 360?
