Salute is on Saturday 14th April 2018, I will be definitely going to this years as Dropzone Commander 2.0 is set to launch at the event and it was good last time we went.

Probably do the same as last time, car to Warwick Parkway and train and underground there and back. Be good to get a few of us going down.

Info here http://www.salute.co.uk/salute/salute-2018/
I will be going.
The 4 up share parking and petrol worked well this year.

Only difference this year is when I see something I will buy it immediately, as many things (bargains) had gone when I went back a short while later... (though probably just as well...)

Or do we want to run a game of something? The Cutlass board is still available I guess (Simon?) and is a setting for just about anything 28mm? Napoleonics Skirmish, WWII Skirmish, 'Steve's' Hunters and Dinosaurs... Star Wars... (Why Not!!!)

Will the SAGA rules for any period be out by then?

Agree with buying stuff when you see it - I missed out on a couple of things.

I'm planning on going again this year.
The smell of laser cut MDF, the myriad of wares vying for my cash, the expensive and disappointing burgers...

...count me in!
Just a thought. Battlesystems are running a Kickstarter for their sci fi skirmish game, Core Space. As the guy that runs the company, Colin, lives in Redditch, I wondered if it's worth asking if we could run demos of his game?
Colin has said having local play testers would be useful. I’m sure if you approached him, he would be happy to come down and run us through for some play test, which could expand to demonstration.
I'm totally up for trying it out too, has anyone got his contact info?
Ok seems it’s gone to Kickstarter anyway, so playtest idea is probably pointless.
Well no, we can still help improve the rules pre-launch.

I messaged him via Kickstarter and got this reply:

Quote:Hey Jason,

Thanks thats great. Maybe we can have a play test while the KS is running and get some film of the comments etc, what do you think?

Cheers

Looks like the rules are still in beta, so there should be some scope for feedback.

Getting Colin over to run through the game with us is a great idea.
