tickets are on sale for the dropfleet tournament at the UK games expo, this year. I've got mine and a weekend ticket so I can go round the expo on the sunday as well.

(its also going to be my birthday that day so I expect everyone from the club to let me win
)
There is also a Dropzone tournament on the Friday - I won't be able to make that one but may be of interest to others
If there are still tickets left in half an hour when I get home then I'll get one too
I got my ticket last night
Good good. I've got mine too.
No problem Will, happy to "let" you win...
Just spotted this on the hawk forum

If you look at hawk liam's last post, the tournament won't be using the experimental rules for the moment.
No linked broadsides for me. Hopefully that will change though, who knows?!
Looking at this post we should not really be using them for the tournament practice games either then?
Yeah I guess not. Probably best to practice with the normal ground game rules to get quicker at them. Will have to keep an eye on that thread and see what changes. Hopefully they will use some of the experimental rules, It would be nice to have my linked broadsides and their won't be much point in taking a PHR battleship if the diamond is as it is in the book
