Just finished an epic game of Battlestar Galactica the board game. great fun accusing each other of being a cylon, shooting down the incoming waves of raiders and trying to conserve resources before jumping to safety.

Would recommend for any fans of the TV series.
Our little group plays this on a semi-regular basis and its fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyable sessions, even if it seems like the humans very rarely win.

I'd recommend skipping the Exodus expansion, but the Pegasus expansion adds an interestsing new dimension with access to the aforementioned ship, the Cylon Leaders and the new Treachery skill cards just to name a few components.
Didn't realise there were expansions, will have to check the pegasus one out!

The humans did win this time although it was touch and go, down to 2 fuel, 2 morale, 1 food and 2 population, with a badly damaged galactica. Cylon player fluffed his reveal a little bit which if he had done would have ended us as two humans would have been in the brig (he was Admiral Tigh) with him jetting off to a basestar would have left just Kara thrace fighting cyclon raiders. As it was Roslin avoided the brig and got me out so we managed to limp to safety! Awesome.

Really captures the feeling of being overwhelmed by different threats but then being able to jump to safety and having a turn or two before the cylons show up again.
Played this before, good fun but you need to pay attention... trying to play it at a party whilst drinking didn't work out so well :/
