Could I call upon anyone who hasn't already to give our Facebook page a "like". Once we hit 30 likes it apparently unlocks some useful admin/analysis features.

Ta muchly.
Hey Stu, do we have club member emails? You can invite them via email from the page?
Yep we do (at least the ones used to register on the forum) but I'm wary of using them without permission
Fairenough. Things like that are club coms though, I'm sure somewhere there will be some T&Cs saying we can use the info for club related coms? I doubt many would mind being invited to it?
I wouldn't mind at all
"Done and done..."
I would agree with Stu about being unsure about using emails off here to invite people to the facebook page unless it does specifical say in the T and C's that you will use it for club related communication simply because it's possibly illegal. Also Its a potential hastle storm if just one person gets annoyed over it. we had something like that happen at a live action role play group when a member suddenly decided he was annoyed by the posting of photos from the event with him in it, the arguemnts lasted months.

Post here like you have done and possibly make it sticky so it stays near the top ? Oh and poke people at the club its self lol

If the invites to like the page came from one of us personally to people we personally knew it would be legal. If the invites came from the organisation to people we didn't know it would be illegal. Either way the club page reached its number of likes required now.
Thank you to everyone who helped.

For those that use those networks I've setup pages on Google+ and LinkedIn too.
